Joining the married club...
Well, it's official. I've married my girlfriend and have now joined the club of married dudes. And, I have to say, it actually feels good! Having someone to go home to everyday, waking up to see your loved one every morning is a great thing to have. So, to everyone who's cheered me on and supported me to get to this point, thank you all! I never could have done this without you all.
The pictures will be coming in as soon as their developed. Be patient on that one, it'll be worth the wait. Believe me!
Highlights of the wedding:
-MVP of the wedding, uncle Billy. - Man, he was on FIRE at the party. He quoted Nixon during the toast and right when the party was about to become slow, he fired things up with his mad-dancing skills on the dance floor! And he wasn't done with just the dancing, he was an absolute force of nature during our own rendition of American Idol with the karaoke portion. Amazing! Actually no, amazing doesn't quite do him justice...Jaw-dropping, entertaining freak of nature!
-Best assist of the wedding, DJ Sal. - Ever wondered how it would be like having Robert DeNiro being your DJ at your wedding party? That's Sal. He's a clone of DeNiro, I swear! He might not look like him completely, but his demeanor and voice were just spot-on, it was freaky! But, that also meant that no-one, NO-ONE messes with this guy, which meant that the music portion went smooth. Just hearing him talk got me in the mood for Sinatra and Tony Bennett, which, much to my delight, happened to be his favorites too.
-Best suit, the Hakama (male kimono) that I wore during the tea ceremony and reception. When you see the pictures, you'll understand.
-Best dress, Akane's pink dress. My lord, she looked fantastic! She was like a mirror image of Audrey Hepburn, if Akane was a little taller. Again, you'll have to see the pictures to understand.
Anyways, I'll be back to post more on this...
